‘Placing on the Market’ is defined by EASA as:

The first making available of a product on the Union market.

Put simply, if your drone was available to buy in the EU before 1^st July 2022, answer ‘yes’ to this question.

Check when the manufacturer started selling your drone, this information can usually be found in the drone manufacturer’s manual or online.
